The Science

We use precision fermentation — the same technology that's been making insulin since the 1980s. The result is beta-lactoglobulin (BLG), the primary whey protein in cow's milk, chemically identical to the one from a cow. Health Canada confirmed it. Four regulators worldwide confirmed it.

The Gene
The DNA sequence coding for BLG — cow's primary whey protein — is identified and copied.

The Yeast
That gene is inserted into a yeast strain. Fed on sugar, the yeast ferments and produces BLG protein as its natural output.

The protein is filtered, purified, and dried into powder. Molecular identity to cow-derived whey: confirmed.
